Maharabeg Beach is a sheltered, sandy beach facing east/south-east into Tralee Bay, located on the Maharees Peninsula. Its fixed marram-dunes support a variety of vegetation, including coastal grassland. The catchment area falls within the Tralee Bay and Magharees Peninsula Special Area of Conservation. Popular activities at the beach include swimming, angling, and water sports. The bathing area, which is around 700m long, is situated on the eastern side of the peninsula.

Maharabeg Beach is located on the northern side of the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, in the South West of Ireland. The bathing area is approximately 300m in length and is located on the eastern side of the Maharees Peninsula, 2.5km north of Castlegregory Village. The bathing waters are included within the Shannon International River Basin District.
Maharabeg Beach is a sandy beach, with a shingle ridge, and faces east/south-east into Tralee Bay. It is largely sheltered from severe wave activity and from the prevailing winds (which tend to be south westerly) by virtue of it orientation and its location on the Maharees Peninsula.
